Microsoft Corporation is a global technology company specialized in developing and selling computer software. Windows, the world's most popular operating system for personal computers, has been created by Microsoft. The company was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and Paul Allen, and the company came to operating system bussiness in 1980 with the relaease of MS-DOS. MS-DOS (Micrososft disk operating system) was the company's first operating system developed for IBM-compatible PCs. Later in the year 1985, the company released Windows, the first version called Windows 1.0, which included graphical user-interface and many software utilities for personal computing.

There are some other operating systems developed by Microsoft, but the most known is Windows.
