The MX-17.1 is based on the Debian 9 (Stretch). 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x86-64) versions are available for the MX-17.1. Compared to previous releases, this MX Linux version contains some new features and updates, such as kernel 4.15.0, Firefox 58.0.2, VLC 2.2.8, LibreOffice 6.0.1, new and updated MX apps, improved localization, and more.
